I met Jed Williamson 18 years ago, on my second day of work at Exum. I tagged along on a Cube Point climb with Jed in the lead and 13 or so teenagers, and a few other guides, following behind.
When guides aren’t guiding, they’re out climbing.
Recently Jackson Hole News & Guide featured a “Close-Up” article about Trevor Deighton. Trevor is a great local high school science teacher AND an Exum Guide. Trevor, and 2 other local teachers, Garrick Hart and Andy Tankersley will finish their teaching year in early June and will then spend a portion of their summer guiding clients in Grand Teton National Park. Exum purchased the Ice Park at Snow King in December and it has been a great first year.
