A friend and I just completed a 2 day climb of the Grand. We could not have had a better experience. The guides were incredibly professional, experienced and prioritized safety above anything else. Their expertise gave us so much confidence. Thomas, our tour guide, was so kind and such a great teacher - from the ropes training day at Jackson to the history of the Tetons to geology - we learned so much! We truly could not have had a better time and recommend Exum to anyone looking to explore the Tetons.

I’ve completed two trips with Exum Mountain Guides and I couldn’t speak more highly of them. The first trip was so good I had to come back and climb with Exum again. On the second trip my flight was delayed and the folks at Exum worked tirelessly to make sure we were able to adjust our plan and still make the climb happen. Andy, our guide, was incredible throughout the whole journey prioritizing everyone’s safety and ultimately getting us to the top of the grand teton.

If you’re planning a climb on the Tetons, you absolutely have to do it with Exum.

The guides KNEW what they were doing very well! We went from climbing school (over two days, where they gave tips on how to approach different problems and what not to do) to summiting the Grand Teton over two days! Along the way, they were very talkative, but when they needed to ensure our safety, they communicated that fact! Tag was my guide, and he was excellent in that he got us up in an efficient manner! They also had a super comfortable (given the conditions up there) hut we stayed at, at the lower saddle.

We did a one day climbing trip led by Christian and I cannot recommend it more. One of the best guides we ever had the pleasure to work with. He was incredibly patient with the kids and knowledgeable. He tailored the day entirely to our needs and everybody got a ton out of it. We loved it so much that we’ll be back next summer for more climbing. We pushed ourselves to our limits and felt completely safe and challenged at the same time. An amazing experience!

Our group of 4 trained for and climbed the Grand Teton over 4 days and will certainly be back to explore with Exum again. From the initial communication with the office through the hike down and ride back each member of the Exum team was delightful - eager to help, share knowledge and ensure our preparedness for the climb. Colin and Noah in particular made the trip. They both seemed genuinely invested in our adventure and worked tirelessly during our training days and climbing days to give us the best experiences possible. They both have such a deep knowledge of GTNP and shared their expertise openly. I most appreciated the generosity of their spirits - It is clear they love what they do and they personalized a trip they've both done countless times to make it unique and memorable for us. Absolutely Stellar! Cannot thank Exum enough for a great few days exploring and climbing. My wife and I just completed a 2 day Grand Teton program with a couple of training/climbing days in advance. Joel, Evan and Brendan (Bdan) were amazingly professional, personable and fun to spend a few days with exploring the upper elevations of the park. Nothing but superlatives. Despite not being able to summit, (due to weather/ice) they made it fun and still bagged the west summit just 500 feet shy of the 13,770'. Thank you for the memories they will last a lifetime! We look forward to seeing you all next climbing season!

Just what we were looking for Me and my girlfriend had an amazing experience with Exume! We did our training with Nancy and she was awesome. She helped us feel safe and comfortable with climbing and everything we would be doing to summit the Grand. Noah actually took us to the peak and he was very patient and made sure we were safe and doing well. both were very professional but easy to talk to and made the time very enjoyable. 100% recommend Exum and their guides.

Amazing guide service! Our guide Ben was fantastic and very fun to talk to while hiking up and summiting the Grand Teton; showing us native flora and sharing interesting information about the area along the way. Couldn’t have done it without ya Ben, can’t thank you enough! Highly recommend this guiding service to anyone who’s wanting to climb the Grand or any of the mountains in the national park.

Experienced, enthusiastic, and safe Had a very good experience climbing with guides Anna and Ben. They are very safety conscious and experienced. With patience and encouragement they helped two 50 something city guys and a 9th grader make it to the Grand's summit and back. Highly recommend Exum!
