Reservations

Ready to plan your trip? Please review the information below and give us a call. We look forward to talking with you! This information is primarily for individuals making reservations to climb the Grand Teton or another peak.

A Few Things to Consider Before You Make Your Reservation

Medical Concerns – If you have any medical condition, or are taking medication that could affect your ability to participate in a challenging climbing activity, please see your doctor and confirm that you should participate.

Classic or Private Climb – If you are climbing the Grand Teton, please be sure to review and understand the differences between classic and private climbs. It’s important that you choose the option that matches your goals for the climb. It is unlikely that you will be able to change your plans after your reservation is made.

Early Season Climbs – Snow conditions in the high Teton peaks vary greatly from season to season. Typically if your climb begins on July 10th or earlier, a day of snow school is required in addition to the climbing and mountaineering instruction.

Flights

American, Delta, Frontier and United fly into the Jackson airport which is the only airport within the boundaries of a National Park. The runway runs parallel to the Teton Range and the view is breathtaking. You can also fly into Idaho Falls, ID (about 3 hours from our office) or Salt Lake City (about 6 hours from our office). You will need to arrive in Jackson at least the day before your activities begin, and since the return time from climbing depends on many factors, we ask that you do not book your departure flight until the day after your activities end.

Lodging

You can review some of our favorite lodging options, or call the Chamber of Commerce at 307-733-3316 for other options.

Transportation

You will need to arrange for your own transportation to and from all of your activities. Public transportation in the area is limited, time-consuming, and expensive. Due to the distances you will need to travel and the unpredictable finish times, we recommend renting a car for the duration of your stay in the Jackson area. Exum employees CANNOT provide transportation under any circumstances.

In today’s changing travel environment, it’s important to protect your travel investment so you can relax and enjoy your trip. Unforeseen events such as flight delays, baggage loss or even a sudden sickness or injury could impact your travel plans.
