Avalanche Level II

The Level II course goes deeper into the science of snow metamorphism, allowing participants to have a better understanding of snowpack history as it relates to avalanche potential. The course also focuses on communication and group dynamics.

Exum recommends that you take the Avalanche II course from American Avalanche Institute. Exum and AAI guides often work together and this Level II course is the best available.
