Hello and thanks for taking the time to look me up! You may be curious about who I am because I’ll be your guide or maybe you’re browsing the website looking for a good fit to your personality. I’ll let you know that my style lends itself to most others. I’ll be your light-hearted friend with a smile, we’ll develop inside jokes quickly, and right before you bonk – we’ll be back at the cars!
I stopped counting Grand Teton summits at #65, chasing grades, and “hanging it out there” because I believe it’s more important to live long and prosper. That’s not to say the task at hand is without inherent risk… I view the natural world as a dangerous place of wonder worth preserving as is, with the occasional hut or tent placement to consolidate human impact and amplify our enjoyment. I can be quiet or talk at length about highlights I’ve gleaned from experts in their field as well as advice for training your body and mind to perform at the level you desire.
Currently an AMGA Certified Rock and Ski Guide pursuing IFMGA status. I’ve onsighted 5.13a, flashed 13b and am projecting 14’s in the off season. Big walls, water ice, mixed climbing, steep skiing, ripping groomers, and long winter traverses also capture my attention but are harder to quantify. Just know that whatever your desired goal, we can work together to push the limits of your ability!
