Hayden Wyatt Completes the Teton Seven Summits
On August 17th Hayden Wyatt reached the summit of Mt. Owen, the final summit of his 5 year endeavor to climb the Seven Summits of the Tetons. Hayden is 14 years old and one of very few teenagers to accomplish this goal. He climbed his first peak, The Grand Teton when he was 10 years old. Hayden climbed all Seven Summits with his mom and dad, Exum senior guides Evelyn Lees and Rick Wyatt. Mom is not in any of the photos because she is the one taking them. Hayden lives in Salt Lake City and spends every summer in the Tetons. He is also an awesome skier and his new goal is to ski some of the peaks. And yes, one of his favorite pastimes when he isn’t climbing is breakdancing. The seven highest Teton summits include: The Grand Teton, Mt. Owen, Teewinot, Middle Teton, South Teton, Mt. Moran and Buck Mountain. Way to Go Hayden! |
