With over two decades of backcountry skiing experience in the Tetons, multiple first descents in Alaska and the Tetons and splitboard guiding since 2021, Elizabeth brings unique area knowledge and experience to any endeavour. Working in the woods every day for over ten years on trails in the Grand Teton NP has helped Elizabeth develop a specialized knowledge of plants, trees and human history of the area. Her passion for snowboarding has taken her across the globe, from the Swiss Alps and Norway to Tasmania, Canada, and Alaska. She recently coguided a sail to ski trip in the Arctic Circle in Spring of 2024.
Before embarking on her guiding journey, Elizabeth honed her teaching skills at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort working with clients ranging from snowboarders to adaptive athletes of all levels. Her extensive teaching background has helped to develop personalized experience for all of her clients.
Elizabeth’s love for the mountains goes beyond adventure; She combines this passion with her professional endeavors, owning a health and wellness business that emphasizes adventure-based therapy, somatic psychotherapy, and community wellness. She also runs a backcountry program for local students ages 10-12, teaching kids the ins and outs of teamwork and backcountry skiing.
