I am a full time Exum Mountain Guide, and I live in Jackson WY with my wife and 2 children. As a guide I am passionate about the human powered mountain experience, and I believe in the transformative power of high and wild places for all people. The mountains have been an environment for some of the riches human experiences of my life, but it is the people with whom I share these experiences that make up the impressions that last a lifetime. My work as a guide enables me to share these experiences with people from all walks of life, and enriches my experience of the mountains. I feel very fortunate to work for Exum Mountains Guides, and live in Jackson with my family.
I also work as a guide for Teton Gravity Research, both in the Tetons and abroad – guiding and providing safety consulting to high level freeride skiers & riders on remote alpine-style descents. My work has been featured in Jeremy Jones’ Higher, as well as Teton Gravity Research’s Way of Life and Almost Ablaze. In the summer I guide alpine climbs and traverses as well as rock climbs in the Tetons, Wind River Range, City of Rocks and Sinks Canyon.
