Anneka moved to Jackson, WY in 2005 to climb after racing sled dogs competitively for ten years. She has climbed extensively throughout the western U.S. as well as in Mexico, Canada, and Greece. Anneka has been a professional ski patroller for over ten years and currently works at Bridger Bowl in Bozeman, MT where she is a certified avalanche dog handler. In the off season she enjoys traveling the west’s great wilderness rivers in rafts, dories and packrafts.
Anneka was awarded the Citizens Award for Bravery for assisting in the 2010 Grand Teton lightning rescue.
