Anneka moved to Jackson, WY in 2005 to climb after racing sled dogs competitively for ten years. She has climbed extensively throughout the western U.S. as well as in Mexico, Canada, and Greece. Anneka has been a professional ski patroller for over ten years and currently works at Bridger Bowl in Bozeman, MT where she and her dog Ringo are a certified avalanche dog team. In the off season she enjoys traveling around the world to climb and kayak.
Anneka was awarded the Citizens Award for Bravery for assisting in the 2010 Grand Teton lightning rescue.
