Alpine Seminar

Four days of instruction and climbing make the Alpine Seminar a great way to take your alpine climbing to the next level.

Our Alpine Mountaineering Seminar is offered in June when snow is still abundant and the park is uncrowded. It’s a beautiful time to be in the Tetons.

You will you learn technical skills and gain valuable experience. You will also have the opportunity to glean valuable lessons from your guide’s extensive climbing experience, in the Tetons and in mountains around the world.

The Seminar begins with one day in the valley to assess skill levels and cover basic instruction. On day two, the group will hike to a base camp at the Lower Saddle on the Grand Teton and participate in more instruction that afternoon.  From this camp, the group will choose and attempt one or more climbs based on weather and mountain conditions. Typically we will climb a technical route on Middle Teton.

These four days are a great way for climbing partners to learn important alpine skills and practice climbing together while receiving feedback from our guides. Get a couple friends together and then call us to discuss dates and specifics of your Alpine Seminar!

Offered only for groups of 2 or more scheduling together. All participants must have similar skill levels.
