Exum Guide Brenton Reagan and Teton climber Tim Cohn visited the “The Ruth Gorge” in Alaska from May 19th to June 6th, 2009. The goal was to attempt to climb “The Cobra Pillar” on Mt. Barill. The gorge is surrounded by 3,000 to 5,000 foot tall rock walls and is located just southeast of Denali 20,320 ft, the largest peak in North America. Story to follow in the “What’s New” section.
